If you never optimize I’m not sure why you need multiple cores to have results fairly quickly from whatever you doing in AFL.  Without optimization it’s not likely you have operations that by their nature are either parallel or can be made to be parallel … If what you are doing for some reason takes a long time and they are manual processes i.e. run this AFL that takes a long time then run another etc … Then crank up another instance or three of AB and run the other manual processes there …

If you do optimize I provided a FREE solution to this the other day which by the way I have now tested on a 4 chassis fully loaded IBM x3950 …

That’s 16 processors … 64 cores … 32 MB of L2 … 1 TB of memory …

It ran perfectly and reduced optimization time by a factor of 50+

The new release that will make it inperitive for me to upgrade will be the
release that FULLY UTILIZES the dual core processing abilities of the newer
generations of computers.

I never optimize, backtest or any of that. 100% of my use of Amibroker
involves finding the central core of the last 100 days of rsi ,
stochastic_K and stochastic_D. Ron D
