Paul,

No, I can NOT upload a "safe" file from the WordPress admin panel.

Yes, I read your test spreadsheet, that you uploaded to the UKB, by
opening the attachment link.

I uploaded a text file and an Excel spreadsheet using WLW with a
plugin (as before I can't upload a CSV from WLW).

FTR:

In WLW >> View > SideBar

Go to the bottom of the SideBar panel and click on +Plugin (it takes
you to a Windows plugin gallery > then download and install
the "ScottIsAFool" plugin for files (it allows three file
attachments).

It installs in a separate directory like a miniprogram and it auto
appears in the sidebar plugin list.

This feature was my main beef with WLW so that fixes that.
According to the instructions installing the plugin is a riskfactor
but I took the risk anyway.

How did you manage to upload a file - you must have used the plug in
too?

Also, while I was at the UKB/WP admin panel I didn't see the option
to add a sort order (that was an addition by Tomasz so it might not
be working with the new version yet).
