I set up the email alert to send a text page to my phone which seems
to work faster than a regular e-mail.
But ..... I still am plagued with getting the alertif to work
correctly. So for me getting the alert in a timely manner is just
half the battle, it is also important to get a reliable alert!
Spending hours going through a thousand or so posts on the alertif
topic and still having problems getting it to work is very
frustrating to say the least.
If you are satisfied with the alerts you are getting, please post
your code and any settings that may be relevant. I think more
examples would help.
