Herman,

I think that you are getting all comments to your mail because of 
your role (admin probably set this 'email' option for you) - you are 
the only one with that 'delivery' to email address.

As I understand it you can read them all, when logged into "WordPress 
Admin Center" but only admin can moderate all first time comments 
(from new posters) - all first comments are delayed until 
intervention by admin.

AFAIK you can't moderate the comments.

I don't receive all comments to my email (I didn't ask for any 
special priviliges because of my role).

I only receive them as an RSS feed, the same as all RSS subscribed 
users.

Spam is not going to other users via the RSS feed.

I can see quite a few valueable comments in a queue,at the WordPress 
admin center, that did not get posted.
