I have noticed this general trend of Memory Size and Processor Speed  
(disk drives too) increasing so that the capabilities of the computers  
expand while keeping the user interactions at about the same "human"  
speeds.

However, I have been impressed that the OS X progression has been such  
that each new release seems faster than the last.
I will stick with XP for my virtual machines though for the obvious  
reason of its size --as long as it continues to run AmiBroker.
