Have you seen the instructions on the force backfill context menu
(scroll down)

Also, I don't think it is a good idea to have more than 500 symbols
in your Database.
At a guess I would say that if you have a watchlist of 500 symbols
and do and exploration with force backfill that will setup your first
500 active symbols - after that ones you use will come in and others
drop out of the active list.
As I said - I am only guessing.
