As I recall, the composition of indices is reviewed
quarterly so one has to be prepared to change the composition that
frequently. I presume that Nasdaq provides (perhaps on request) the
changes through the years on their website. Handling those changes and
future ones is an uphill battle and is just one of the reasons so many only
trade the indices.
