It would appear to me that the best method would be to only release charts and keep your code under your personal control, on your personal computer.

In other words: your visitors set up parameters (Ticker, periods, etc) on your web site and click a "Request Chart" button. This request sends the parameters to your private computer. Your system would then generate the chart and upload/post the chart on your remote/public website. If automated this might appear like an interactive website to the user. Your AFL code would remain safely on your private computer, behind your fire wall, under your complete control. easy maintenance too...

Ronald, I could have been in your computer class :-) remember dropping your cards?

To write a simple DLL is doable for almost anyone, just copy the nearest example, compile it, and make it run. Then bit by bit make small changes, compiling after each SMALL change. This way you don't get swamped by compounded errors that are impossible to debug for someone with our background. Because AFL has become so powerful the need to write DLLs is virtually gone, i haven't done it for many years.

When you get lost visit the DLL list for help...

This will get you off the ground with a running DLL, but how to make a DLL to encrypt AFL... I have no clue about that.

I am assuming that it will take me a long time to learn how to CREATE AND HAVE EXCLUSIVE CONTROL of a FUTURE website.

If I CORRECTLY understood the WEBSITE developer, then DLL protection would not be necessary if I HAVE EXCLUSIVE CONTROL of a FUTURE WEBSITE.
