graph0 is OBSOLETE and should NOT BE USED.
It is left there for BACKWARD compatibility because people
have codes from 1998 or years like that
that used such syntax.
ANY new user should not even touch graph* statements because
they are obsolete.
Your NEW coding should ALWAYS use Plot function:

Subject: [amibroker] graph0
Here
is a perfect example of why we newcomers find learning amibroker so difficult.
I am trying to find out the intricacies of why some graphs/indicators plot
titles and some don't. Why lines are different thicknesses, etc. So I am
comparing two diffent codes from the library on the REI indicator.
Specifically these lines here:
Graph0=TDREI;
Graph0Style=4;
Graph0Color=4;
Graph1=varOverboughtSignal;
Graph1Style=1;
Graph1Color=6;
Graph2=varOversoldSignal;
Graph2Style=1;
Graph2Color=6;
// End: plot all lines
Title =Name() +
" -TD REI: " +
"("+ WriteVal (
Graph0,format=1.2)+")";
and this here:
Graph0 = TDREI;
_SECTION_END();
First I go to the function reference to look at
Graph but it is not a function. A search of the Users guide tells me it is a
reserved variable. But it also tells me it is obsolete and that it should not
be used in new coding. But it doesn't tell me what replaced Graph0 (I think it
is plot, which is a function, but not 100% sure).
Granted, I'm not a computer programmer, but does
this sound confusing to anyone besides me?
So how would the code above be written
today?
