Yes, I'll second that. Graham is great...
He has helped me on a couple of projects that I was not familiar with. I am
a professional developer and have been for over 15 years. I agree, you can
learn a lot through manuals (my wife is a tech writer and we go round and
round). However, sometimes the advice from someone that is more familar with a
product can keep you on the path.
Thanks Graham, we all appreciate your help and assistance!

for his help over the years. His advice to me 4 years ago was to do what he
did when he started and that was to read the guide from front to back,
experimenting with every function. If you know how to run an AA/Explore it's
so easy to check out your questions or ideas. Of course the guide had fewer
pages, functions and "things" were not as complex.

While there certainly are those that do not appear to do their homework before
asking a question on this forum, please don't assume that everybody is trying
to take the easy way out when asking a question. Some folks just naturally
pick up on things faster than others do. To the nonprogrammer, the manual can
appear a bit confusing and/or overwhelming. What's easy for some is not
necessarily easy for all. This forum is a resource that should be available to
anybody with a question, without fear of being belittled for doing so. If a
question appears "to easy" for a response, than igonore it If someone is
willing to help out, and there are many of those folks on this forum (a big
thanks to all of you), than they'll take care of it. I realize it may clutter
up the forum, but the bottom line is unless you have a way of weeding out the
phonies from those with legitimate request for help, than you have to take the
good with the bad. It never hurts to help somebody.
