Hello,
Was explained several times
If you import tick data you must use
$TICKMODE 1
in import definition.

This is required as tick data have multiple records having same date/time.

It's not working when I used the same procedure for importing bar
data. I used wordpad to open the tick data I exported and it was the
same as shown from quote editor indicating there is no problem from
export. After import, I looked at the quote editor and the quotes
looked different. It didn't show quotes of the same time but quotes of
5 second different. Has anyone imported tick data successfully?
