Ton,
Re: collating AB info (from your earlier post in this
topic).
Generally the search feature and UKB were aimed at improving
the
accessibility of information.
IMO all of the big ticket items
are now in place.
Tomasz has given us a lot to facilitate learning over the
last year
or so.
If anything significant is missing from the suite
it would be an AFL
programming book and a better way to mine the
information in this
groups archive.
Personally, I am pretty happy
with the state of play at AB.
Consequently I am hanging up my light
sabre.
Brian.

the free code you will
find on the Internet is generously donated by
users. The problem is
that most of these items are undocumented or are
documented inside
the code. This is what make finding stuff so difficult.
It is easy to
search for "PositionSize(" and get some hits but such
searches only
answer syntax and basic usage questions. So, while users
generously
donate code, their code is inefficiently distributed and rarely
used.
In many cases you might as well drag your code into your Recycling
Bin.

publish it on the UKB. It is simply the

objective.

The greatest ideas come from
newcomers who enter TA with an unbiased
approach and who dare to speak up.
I speak from personal experience;
when I came to TA from the electronics
field many of my ideas were
sniggered at...some are now common place and
supported by build-in
functions.
