Re: [amibroker] Re: Trendline Start X-Y and End X-Y change when selected. Why?

Hi,

I experience this all the time. I have made a bug report (#890) and
a suggestion (#727) that should solve this problem if/when fixed. I
think the problem has to do with the way handles are tagged in the
time frame in which you created them vs the next time you click on
them when the magnet mode (snap to price) is on. Here is the work
around I currently use: One way to select a line without having it
jump around, is to right click on it then select Properties, then
Cancel. You can then toggle the magnet icon if it is on, then copy/
paste. That should give you a new line that will not jump. Of
course the original line no longer has the magnet property on either.
