Hi,
I have noted that some values can be boolean (0 or 1 only) for
arrays. No problem with this. I also note that some values like
plot styles can have binary values that are ORed together so that a
combination of different flags can be tested in one value. No
problem understanding this either. My problem is when I try to use
this idea myself to set multiple flags in one value it does not seem
to work. Perhaps I am getting floating point instead of integer values.
Is this the right conceptual form?
y[1] = 0;
y[1] |= 1;
y[1] |= 2;
y[1] |= 8;
y[1] |= 16;
if (y[1] AND 8) {do this}
shapeVar = (y &16)*ShapeUpArrow;
Thanks,
Dennis
