Re regexp = '/$[\.\^]AX/
', '.' and '^' are regex commands so must be be preceded by the escape char
'\'.

The data is not only end of string orientated or limited to (^|.)AX

The "Actual" search text is:
^AORD    Yahoo index (Beginning of string)
^AXEJ    Yahoo index (Beginning of string)
& so on.....
BHP.AX   Yahoo ticker Format (End of String)
CTX.AX   Yahoo ticker Format (End of String)
& so on....
