if you use a metastock plug-in. the metastock
database is not deleted. just the AB database
you can re-retrieve the all the symbols again from
metastock. go to database settings->configure->retrieve symobls, then AB
will recreate the missing symobls automatically. there would be no need to
modify anything from metastock.

again.
i get my data from Premium data and everything was set up
when i installed the history file,i think.
mmm not sure what to do ,,maybe i should contact
Premium.

If you've deleted it, its gone. you'll have to
re-import it from wherever you've got it in the first
place.
next time, use watchlist->remove symbol
instead.
advice please,,,,
it seems that when i delete a stock ticker from
a watch list that i've
deleted it from the "all" folder too,,,
ie
had PSA in a watch list that i set up and deleted it from the watchlist
but now can't find it anywhere.
how do i return the "ALL" folder
to normal please ?????
