"Local file can 't be open" means that AQ can open file for
writing - most common reason
is that destination folder does not exist: go to
Tools->Settings in AQ
and verify if Desination folder points to existing
folder.

Thanks for the info, Thomasz.
Now, the problem is the following . When I want to
download quotes, it says "Local file can't be opened ... " or "The
operation timed out".
Is there something I can do to resolve this problem
?
Thanks again for your help.
Claude

AmiQuote
Go to Tools->Customize and check "Tools" tab there
should be AMiQuote listed there.
If there isn't - run setup program (full
version).

Subject: [amibroker] AmiQuote
Hi
I tried to auto-update quotes by using AmiQuote (as I
do everyday). For an unknown reason, it no
longer works. I click on "Tools" and "Auto-update quotes (Ami
Quotes only)" and nothing happens.
Could someone help ?
Thanks
