Ara - If the CONN button background is blue then you have a problem.  Go 
to the help area and find the section "Working with intraday and daily 
charts"  In that section there are some instructions on what to do when 
the CONN button is blue.  You must have a configuration problem 
somewhere - not selecting the right database, the IB plugin not 
selected, etc.  You might also want to review the section pertaining to 
getting quotes from InteractiveBrokers.
