Pitchforks. The implementation is basic and does not allow one to derive
full advantage from this very useful tool.
Trendlines. Mirror trendlines. I have raised this issue on and off again. No
response.
Implementation of VAP. Again suggestions submitted in the appropriate fora.
No response from the developer. You get to see a generalised VAP display in
AB i..e one that covers the entire chart being displayed. To be meaningful
one should be able to look at VAP implementation which can address specified
data range to sift out price levels where there was heavy volume on the way
up or down.
Yes Ensign is very expensive and AB is very good value for money. It still
does not take away from the fact AB charting capabilities are not at the
same level as it's formula writing or system development capabilities are.
Now some may respond that it is very easy to write AFLs' to do exactly what
I am referring to. My submission to that would be, most traders are not IT
people and writing computer program code is not their core area of
competence.
