This site sells other 'voices' that can be used with the new say(text) function.   You would select the default voice using the 'speech' control in the control panel
http://www.cepstral.com  (I have no linkage with them .. just found their voices better than the default )

Some days .. their 'damien' voice is just perfect for my trading ...  

You can download and try them.. .. the voice will periodically insert a reminder to register them into its speech.
