Yes, Someitmes I wish I could just 'lock' my charts so they don't change when I touch a symbol in the symbol list.
But I think you can do what you want with a RightClick on the RTQ window and there's an add symbol/watchlist menu.

Subject: [amibroker] RTQ window: any other way to populate?

There are times when I just want to add one or a few symbols to a
particular tab in the RTQ window.

My choices seem to be limited to assembling them in a watchlist and
then importing the watchlist, or pulling them up in the ticker window
and then using the RTQ context menu to add.

There are times when I'd rather not take the time to create a
watchlist, and times when I have a certain sequence of charts open
that I don't want to disturb (by opening new charts, which is what
happens when a symbol is entered into the ticker window).

IOW, I'd like an option to just type in a symbol for addition to a
RTQ tab, without affecting anything. Maybe a context menu add that
allows single or multiple symbol inputs?

Can do? Might do? Won't consider?

Yuki
