[amibroker] Volume Price Bars (TimeFrameMode)

I've been trying to experiment with Volume-based Price Bars using the
code from the manual:

TimeFrameMode( 2 ); 
TimeFrameSet( 50000 ); 

I've tried this with a tick database and minute database, but the only
way I can avoid error 48 is if I set the share parameter to 130869 or
more.  That's much too large to be useful.  What am I doing wrong?
