Tomasz,

Easy for you to say and do ....Very Hard for us to do.....we are traders not programmers....

Looks like no coding help from the master, who could code this in minutes,... so we will stumble along for months trying to get it to work and then probably give up on this thought...

thank you
Anthony

  Hello,

Of course it can do that. And this is as easy as abc.

  AmiBroker supports MULTIPLE COLUMN SORT.

Just run an exploration and perform multiple column sort
first by SECTOR next by INDUSTRY and next by symbol.

  Three mouse clicks.

You can have it with ZERO mouse clicks using automatic sort after exploration
via new (4.89 or higher) SetSortColumns

    Tomasz,

Although we agree with you that Amibroker is limitless.....what we are trying to accomplish is NOT very easy...that is why we are asking for coding help....but can not seem to get it.

Here is a link to what we are trying to accomplish that Amibroker can not seem to do, finding Top Sectors, Top industries in top sector, Top stocks in top industries in top sectors.

      Hello,

AIQ is pathetic compared to AB.

What you call "teribly complicated" is NOT complicated at all.
It is just one function with 3 parameters.

What is SUPERIOR about it - is that it is EXTREMELY powerful
and can do things that AIQ users can only dream about.

People often mistake UI-driven stuff with simplicity. This is not true.
UI interfaces become sooner or later the LIMITATION.

AddToComposite is limitless and just take a look on what is possible:

(but this is only tip of the iceberg).
