I have no idea why, but the Friday US historical update *finally*
loaded this morning (Tuesday in Tokyo), after failing to load a
number of times. The files were downloaded and in the correct folder,
but AQ was not importing them for some reason. The ^GSPC historical
file had the right volume; I checked it with Notepad. But that
volume was not being imported. Today, for no apparent reason, it did.
I keep only 12 US symbols. Ten have historical data, and 2 have only
current. So I run it once in the morning to pick up the current, but
since the current has absurd or no volume for indices, I run it again
EOD to get the historical.
Nothing has changed on this machine in months. No accelerators, no
new software, no nothing. I run a tight box, if nothing else.
I have no explanation for this. Does anyone?
