Downloading historical data via Amiquote from "MSN Historical", from
2000-2007, i automatically get weekly bars when i should be getting
daily bars. To complete my data, i then do a "Yahoo Historical"
download to "fill in the blanks". The reason i do both downloads is
that Yahoo historical does not have complete data for all US stocks.
1. Is there a way to download daily historical data using amiquote
from "MSN Historical" for a long period like 2000-2007. Note that if i
download just 1 year of data from MSN Historical, it actually
downloads daily bars!
2. What is the effect of doing "MSN Historical" download then doing a
"Yahoo Historical" download over the same database? Does the Yahoo
data totally replace "MSN Historical data"? Does the Yahoo data only
"fill in the blanks" and the MSN Historical data is retained for the
most part? Does it overwrite all MSN Historical data just like if you
had never done the MSN Historical dowload?
Anyone having the same issues?
