Ron: Google "Avast Reviews" with or without quotes, get more than you can
read. I glanced at a few and my eyeball consensus was that AVG was somewhat
more preferred for a variety of reasons. Avast false positives were
mentioned.

Ken, thank you for correcting my misunderstanding of their warning emails
that they were sending.
Avast seems like a great product also, have you heard any positive or

Not true. They stopped supporting version 7.1 and now have a version 7.5,
somewhat improved and able to work with Vista.

For what it is worth,I was using FREE AVG from grisoft, but they stopped
supporting the free version on Jan 15,07.
I found and installed Free Avast and I like it better than AVG FREE.
