[amibroker] Re: Range Bars

One more potential customer who would like Range Bars (also called
"Constant Range Bars"). Today's intraday look at ER2 (Russell 2000
futures) in time-bars (2 min), tick (< 50 ticks, depends on the data
source), and range bars (0.8 or so points per bar) show the
differences fairly well. When the day starts, time and tick-based
charts are making big bars up, down, up. Later, when the volume dries
up, and the range squeezes, both time and tick charts go flat.
Through this all, constant range bar charts are making decent looking
patterns. Many indicators are smoothed when applied to range bar
charts, such as bands and oscillators.

I've just looked at AmiBroker a few days, and like a lot of what I
see, but I'm not sure I can give up range bar charts.
