Hello,
Shortly:
1. Leave GUI design to me. Thank you.
The reason why "erase" option is shown on any stock
is that if you have tens thousands of symbols
and want to make fresh start with filling favorites
it would by painfull having to scroll down few thousands
items just to reach favourites, click on them and then erase.
2. No, because it would require too much mouse clicks and
defeat purpose of "favorities".
Favourities are designed to be very quick way to temporarily
FLAG the symbol.
If you want more mouse clicks use watch list.
3. Yes you are missing the point - read back the mailing list archive
discussing MDI tabs.
4. Learn to read READ ME (especially "CHANGE LOG") each time you install the beta
- then you would not bring issues explained in read-me.
Best regards,
Tomasz Janeczko

Subject: [amibroker] Some Issues in latest 4.88 Beta.
some issues to bring up.
1. Why do we see "Earse favourites" menu even when we right click on any stock.
this should come only when we right click on favourites folder specifically.
2. The "Erase favourites" should ask for a confirmation "yes/no/cancel".
one midnight mistake and a carefully selected favourites down the drain.
2.(b) why cant we export a list of favourites to a text file, like we can do for a watchlist?
3. The tabs in beta which is great, doesnot keep the same order when ami is restarted.
Its is very essential that tabs remain in same order as place and not jumble up.
(am i missing something in this point?)
4. In my window menu, I dont see option to create "new window".. I only see "new linked window".. :O
if this were pointed out previously, then sorry for wasting time.
cheers
rajeev
