Once again, eSignal has forced phantom data upon me for every single
Japan symbol.
This time, it is a single line of data for every symbol in a
one-minute database, dated September 18, a day for which there should
be NOTHING. We were closed. eSignal doesn't recognize Japanese
holidays, apparently, and just invents some transactions for dates
when we are closed.
Is there any way, script, something, that I can clean this other than
manually going through each symbol? I just want to be able to
DELETE, automatically, anything dated September 18, 2006. There were
no trades here yesterday. But eSignal puts out a bar, just in case
we felt lonely without one, I guess.
eSignal will never clean it. They just don't. And they don't fire
whoever should be responsible for fixing it, either. It's been an
issue here all year long.
