I'd noted your intended use of Dakota and downloaded some info in order to
compare it to R.
I was rather surprised to see via today's refs to Trader Tips,

that a new TA player, Biocomp Dakota =>
http://www.biocompsystems.com/products/Dakota/
sells "their" version at up to $1995 even though Sandia's just-released
Version 4.0 is still GNU.
Were you planning to use some commercial version instead of the GNU release.
