I actually meant the draw menu, but yes it I'd tried that [and
checking/unchecking matters not].

I think the actual problem may have been that I moved the draw menu
off-screen while still in the Tools|Customize screen.
That's probably curable by deleting  TJP  toolbar settings in the registry,
with a reinstall of 4.84  the fallback.

For the moment, I've added the crucial Draw buttons to another toolbar.

  Try right click in the toolbar area and see if what you lost is checked.
