Trying to duplicate your "symptom" I just deliberately "lost" my View
Toolbar and then brought it back.
At the right side of all the other toolbars there's a small, dark
downward-pointing arrow. I right-clicked it and a menu comes up, with
"Standard", "Ticker", "Tools", etc., and "View." I left-clicked next
to where the box would be next to "View", a checkmark comes up and the
toolbar comes back.
