A few extra points.
In the Ami manual help section there are three selectable options at
the bottom of the search pane that affect the outcomes.
When searching the group archives I have only found two ways to
mangage the search lists (other members might know some better ways):
1. scroll down search lists, click on a post you like and topic view
becomes the default.
Scroll through messages in each topic using message arrows.
Later you will have to use the web browser arrows to go back to the
search page.
2. scroll through the search lists and write down one message number
from each topic that interests you.
Later return to message home and enter a message # in search.
When that message is found, manually change to 'list by group' view
and scroll through each message in a topic using the message arrows.
When you have read all the messages in the topic enter a new message
number in search and continue the process.
There is no highlight in Yahoo group searches but the browser 'find
on this page' feature can be used to highlight your search word(s).
