it doesn't matter. My account even doesn't work with version 857 anymore. There is something else going on. Although I can show IB's data are coming in (using the program VB_API_Sample.exe) they must have changed something in the format of the data so that Amibroker can no longer read it.  Weird thing is that for some accounts it works and others it doesn't.

  I've downgraded to 858.6 and am still having the invalid symbol issue.  i uninstalled both tws and ab and reinstalled.  still giving invalid symbol error.

    Did you upgrade your TWS to 860.9? If so, downgrade to previous version.
