You are correct about the info in help files. My broker.watch must be
left-over from an older version because it is there in all three of my
databases, but I see that the icon is no longer the same as
broker.master and broker.workspace.

I don't think broker.watch is there anymore:
Check the help file: Files and directories used by AmiBroker
The watch list Names are in broker.workspace and won't have to be
re-built.
