Hello,
I am not that sure that putting all constants in one place in the docs is good idea. Currently constants are listed where they belong to.
Putting them all together in my humble opinion creates confusion because most of them may only be used together with
one or very few function(s).
For example shape constants are listed together with PlotShapes() , style constants are listed in Plot() function doc,
atc constants are listed together with AddToComposite, in* constants are listed in time frame functions docs.
As for "general purpose" constants used in many places they are listed already in general
AFL docs http://www.amibroker.com/guide/a_language.html

This is great. Could you please put this in the documentation AND include it in the documentation index (perhaps under "constants"). That way it's very simple to find the values, but also to discover the names of the various constants used in AFL. IMO this, and other similar entries ( e.g. "reserved words" for AFL) would make the documentation much easier to use. (It would also reduce the number of e-mails to support & on this board.)

Look at the numeric values. shapePositionAbove equals 1 so it just selects next shape.
Only shape constants starting from shapeSmallSquare are all even numbers, that's why you can add one to get "above"
This does not apply to all preceding shape constants, so
ShapePositionAbove must NOT be used together with shapes that have positions already
included (all those which have "Down" or "Up" in the name).
All "Down" shapes are positioned ABOVE already and "Up" shapes are positioned BELOW already,
so it makes no sense to add those two.
So you may only use ShapePosition above to the following shapes:
shapeSmallSquare, shapeHollowSmallSquare, shapeSquare, shapeHollowSquare, shapeSmallCircle, shapeHollowSmallCircle, shapeCircle,
shapeHollowCircle, shapeStar, shapeHollowStar, shapeDigit0, shapeDigit1, shapeDigit2, shapeDigit3, shapeDigit4, shapeDigit5,
shapeDigit6, shapeDigit7, shapeDigit8, shapeDigit9, shapePositionAbove
