I took
this to mean you'd like to turn it on and off..
The
param(s) are accessed via right mouse click over the indicator window containing
the code Or Ctrl R -- or you could use the
params.
Also
you don't really need to put this in an indicator - that's just pref of mine.
You do the same thing if you wanna run it thru AA.

I'm still not clear on what this achieves: it switches off the
Alerts in
'Preferences' ???
