Hi,
I'm testing Amibroker for the first time and I'm having a bit of
trouble retrieving data from eSignal. I have followed all the steps in
the tutorial for setting up the database for eSignal RT. I
successfully got charts for several stocks, but none of them are going
as far back as I set up the database to go.
My current settings are at maximum number of bars (500000) for 5
minute ticks, which according to Amibroker is aproximately 20 years
worth of data. However when I go back to the 5-min chart I only get
about 6 months worth of data. The status bar on the bottom says that
"15093 bars retrieved during 0.000 secs". At first I thought eSignal
didn't go that far back for the Brazilian Stock Exchange (Bovespa)
which is my primary focus. But I tried NYSE and Nasdaq stocks as well,
with similar results.
Is there anything I'm doing wrong in Amibroker?
Additionally, is there any difference if I have "Force Mixed
OED/Intraday mode" on?
