 Hello,

I am sorry that I over reacted here BUT.... as to
"without your prior
explanation, I couldn't know whether the issue was with Amibroker or
TWS"
- the point is that you would know that if you just read
the docs.

I DID provide explanation in a release note that announced the
release of the plugin see:

In the release note that was an integral part of
announcement of new plugin 1.6.0 written March 30 I explained it in
very detail
(look at the paragraph starting with
"This new plugin is an attempt to workaround a very annoying
‘feature’ in TWS API: hanging (or throttling) historical data requests (see this IB discussion, and this)"

I started up DevLog SPECIFICALLY to have ONE place where all
new developments are described.
If you download any new release, reading the notes that
accompany the release is cruicial.
I don't write those notes for myself.

So I am sorry that I over-reacted, but please *read* the docs
and notes I post.
Imagine how much time I could spend on
development if I did not spend time answer
questions that are answered in the docs.
 Best regards, Tomasz Janeczko amibroker.com

  new IB plugin

  Tomasz,
Sorry if I offended you, although I don't
think my previous message was hostile at all. I appreciated your great work
a couple of times and I said I would take the current version
  happily.
The reason that I left long feedback was because you asked
  it. You said,
  >>>> Thanks... I would appreciate reports
of problems with new plugin if >   >>>>
  there >   >>>> are any,
  Based on your
explanation, it is apparent that you created the best solution. And I
appreciate it. But without your prior explanation, I couldn't know whether
the issue was with Amibroker or TWS, so I just reported what I think
inconvenient. Again, because you asked it!
I love your program as it
is. Probably, it was my best decision last year to move to Amibroker. I
also appreciate your responses to customers feedback including
  mine.
However, don't be offended or mad if customers report some
problems even if they are not your fault.
  Best
  regards,
  ggoom
