 Fred: my reply never showed up, perhaps because it had an 
attachment, showing the close box from Excel.  Just open excel, enter 
something, click the close "X" and you will get choices that include 
"Cancel".  I am not sure why you believe that is not the standard way of 
doing it.  
Vector Vest ? ... LOL ... Yeah I'm sure since they're apparently 
 fairly adept at changing the results their software produces after  the 
fact by removing or altering data.
  In any case and as stated it's not 
about whether or not it can be  done but whether or not someone wants to 
deviate from the standard  and/or norm.
