[amibroker] or statement execution issues

i am tring to run following sttement for scan. the or statement doest seem to work as when s1 and s2 r seperately executed the results are there. but jointly or statemt doest work. kindly help identify the bug

s1= cross(fractaldown,c);
s2= expression;
sell = s1 or s2;
