You can download free from SysInternals.com utility package +PsTools Suite
which includes pslist and pskill that will list and kill processes
(even on remote computers).

I got the code from Dan Clark to kill a process ... "TaskKill" command ... but it only works on XP.

 

The command for Win 2000 seems to be "Kill", but I can not find the format...

 

Anyone with this info?
