RE: [amibroker] Barron's GMI Index

I am not familiar with the GMI that Barron's publishes but Yahoo has a Gold
Miners Index with a symbol of ^GDM. But it appears that they don't offer
any historical data for it.

TC2005 has GDM--X as an index with historical data going back to late 2004.

Since it is an index managed by the American Stock Exchange, go to
www.amex.com and type in GDM in the search window. Doesn't look like they
offer historical data but you can get the stocks that make up the index.

Here is the Gold Miner's Index as offered at www.stockcharts.com:

http://stockcharts.com/def/servlet/SC.web?c=$GDM,uu[w,a]dallynay[pb50!b200!f
][iLb14!La12,26,9]&pref=G

And the same but a weekly chart:

http://stockcharts.com/def/servlet/SC.web?c=$GDM,uu[w,a]wallynay[pb10!b40!f]
[iLb14!La12,26,9]&pref=G

Best thing is they are free. Just bookmark them and refer back to them from
time to time.

Check these out as well:
$HUI - Gold Bugs Index
$GOLD - Gold
$XAU - Gold and Silver Index

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Trade well,

Dave

Does anyone know where I can get full historical data of the Gold
Mining Index from Barron's?
