Also... If you use Interactive Brokers you can use the built-in TWS-Sound Manager ( Configure -> Misc -> Sound manager ) to select custom "Order-Filled", "Order Partially Filled" and "Alarm" sounds. You can use a female voice for afl generated and a male voice for the TWS messages.

Hi,

I was wondering whether there's any way to take advantage of WinXP's
built-in Text To Speech functions within Amibroker?

Would be really cool to be able to give audible alarms such as 'Holy
Dooly, check out Euro, it's going up' instead of some pre-recorded WAV
file which seems to be the current accepted practise.
