I prefer individual emails personally but thought I'd check out the
issue anyway. I also normally use Firefox browser with the Adblock
extension - the GFT ad didn't even show up as I must have long-since
barred that group of ads from ever appearing.
I tried IE and also didn't have an issue. My configuration would be
pretty default since I rarely use IE. I do know that I upgraded the
version of Flash recently.
Perhaps you could visit Macromedia and manually download and re/install
the latest Flash. You might also like to try out and install Firefox if
you're dedicated to Yahoo groups via a browser. Thirdly is a decision to
switch to emails. (Again, Thunderbird email client also allows you to
maintain emails in a conversation thread behaviour which is useful).
