Requirements ADD (cumulate). So if you put SetBarsRequired at top

it will start with 10000 and add up all others (45000).

If you want to set it without cumulation simply call SetBarsRequired as LAST function in your formula.

Some of my indicator run with very few bars. Some others require many more than I can justify.

 

One uses 45,000 bars.

 

I added statement:

SetBarsRequired(10000,0);

and number of bars loaded increased to 55,000.  Confusing!!!

 

This obviously slows down system considerably.

How can I control number of bars loaded?
