Guessing what you are trying to do here's another approach.  Go the
yahoo finance at "biz.yahoo.com/p/s_pr1d.html".  this is the
indstry/sector area. open Industy and there are all the stocks in that
industry by name etc. If you are trying to build a database this is an
excellent place to start.
