RE: [amibroker] Re: CSI data in AB -- so few users

Hi

Re exporting stocks from CSI to AB I’ve found that the only way to get the export to work 100% of the time is have AB open with the CSI database loaded. Other wise at times UA will open the AB but won’t  load the CSI database (the CSI database is not my default database) but other times it works. Has any other CSI users had any problems? I’m using UA V 2.9.0 and AB V 4.74.5.

Futures export would be great but one problem would be how to set up a continuous contract.  An annoyance for me is how CSI changes the symbols e.g. Gold GC ends up GC_0_I0B and chops the full name down.

Yes,I've decided to standardize backtesting and end of day charting
on AB. I use CSI data for futures and Quotes Plus for stocks.  But
if I cannot get CSI to work well with AB, I will have to have some
routine written to back adjust the data out of QP3.

One thing we could do is simply write CSI support asking for futures
export to AM.  I am sure the user base is larger than they think.
