i too had problems today. i logged on about 1000 est, and was on until 1615
est. i was off for about 5 minutes and restarted TWS & AB, did a backfill
about 2pm. i ALWAYS do a "Save Database As" to 2 different databses--1 for
a backup, before i close AB. when i saw your post, i thought i would check
mine. all my Forex e6, e7 cad, zb & zn stopped updating about 3pm. yea i
know there is a hole in trading the zb & zn from 1500 to 1700 est. doing a
Backfill All fills them, and then i did a save, and closed AB. when i
opened it, this time the data was there. The data was not in the Quote
editor either, so it really wasn't present. i can't help you cause i have
no solution. i have emailed support twice about this and no fix. i suggest
you email them too. TJ is gone for another week or so.
i feel this is definitely an AB problem. there have been times when i have
seen all my charts be up to date, i close AB, and then an hour or so later,
wow---some of the data is missing. i can only surmise this is because the
data is not being stored. i using current software too, but the IB plug-in
is 1.4.2.

i'm having problems with rt 1-minute data. i have the various symbols
(AMZN, ESZ5-Globex-fut etc...) in the realtime quote window...both tws and
ab rt open and everything looks like it's updating...the charts are
updating, the realtime window colors changing etc...i then save the database
at the end of the day....and when i reopen ab...nothing for that day is
there...for any of the symbols!
I'm using tws 853.7 and api v 852 ...please help!
