I'm sorry Graham, but I don't know why this is so difficult. An
alert, IMO, should alert ... until acknowledged. An unacknowledged
alert is not, in fact, an alert. An "alert" is a communication, and
it is two-way. Anyone can "alert" anyone else about *anything*, but
if the "alert" is not acknowledged, no communication has taken place,
and the "alert" is therefor not an alert; it is simply a one-way
attempt at communication. Who knows if it succeeded or failed???
I don't know why no one can iterate through my questions ...
Is every one minute (an eternity, IMO) the smallest graduation?
